Album Synopsis

The Polar Frame is the official companion soundtrack to the feature documentary film. Moving across the breathtaking and unforgiving landscapes of the Arctic and Antarctic, the music mirrors Norwegian photographer Kristin Folsland Olsen’s journey – from the high-stakes adrenaline of extreme ski expeditions to a deeply personal, uncertain path toward healing after a life-altering accident. Written to capture both the vast, isolated chill of the polar wilderness and the quiet intimacy of finding grace in everyday moments, this score reflects a profound transition from survival to stillness.
